One day you wake up and find out that parties have secretly turned into work. It’s not like your 9-5 office job, but it’s definitely a different kind of grind. Don’t get me wrong, I love the work I do - but a weekend like this requires another weekend of vegetation to relax.

Rescue grand opening: Located right next to the 7-11, right next to Spaceland. This boutique store offers eclectic, hard to find, couture. Amongst other things the opening featured the photographs of photographer Alan Chapman. The owner Corey was pro and friendly, check out the spot.

Stopped by the Sibling Artistry show - Eric aka PlayKill was a colleague of mine in a couple of ways - fellow Art Center alumn, and fellow musician. He had two different styles of artworks up that night. One style featured thick, textural portrait paintings while the other featured his more light hearted editorial illustrations. Good times and great seeing the guys of Invid there.

Alas this past Friday was the last Club Bingo night. Xavier says he’s off to go overseas for a couple of weeks. Congratulations Xavier - when you get back you gotta let me throw an event at Blackball! (is that David Hasselhoff pictured with Xavier?)

Partying can sure become a grind. Sometimes you got to wonder where the fun went!
Yo yo yo Daniel! Thanks for coming out! When you gonna get off the computer and get your hands dirty?! Paint!!!!
