How do you know you’re big? Is it the platinum sales record frame? The screaming groupies? The VIP treatment? Nope. You’re not big till you’ve got pre-pubescent kids remaking your video.

Went to the Whiskey Green Tea mixer yesterday, had tons of fun… maybe too much fun. It was awesome to see people wearing FR*A apparel around, everyone seemed to be wearing one thing or another. I know you guys can’t get a hold of most of these yet, but good things come to those who wait!

Mixed reviews have not quenched my excitement for The Darjeeling Limited, Wes Anderson’s newest film. Unfortunately, it’s not yet showing in San Diego, but otherwise opened around the country last Friday.
Starring Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, and Adrien Brody as estranged brothers traveling through India to build trust in each other, it’s got to have Anderson’s trademark visual aesthetics, vibrant colours, quirky characters, awkward silences, and impeccable soundtrack, regardless of what the critics say. It’s also preceded by a short starring Natalie Portman, Hotel Chevalier.

Hello folks, I’m dpd, I’m one of the guys who works on this thing all day and all night. It’s been a wild ride so far and I’m truly thankful for the response we’ve gotten so far (not to mention the great posts we’ve been receiving). You’ll notice that this month we’re trying a different format. While in September we released all the articles at once, this time around we’re releasing one feature article every Monday. We figure this might be more engaging to the audience, so you can see consistent and frequent content.
The FR*A aims to be an online community consisting of lovers of the arts across America. Now that we’re online anyone can partake by registering. We’ve noticed that this isn’t as convenient as it could be. We’re currently working on a new system where anyone can instantly blog (much like our “comments” function). For those of you who are already registered bloggers - we’re working on having the admin tweaked out so you can personalize a profile page and have a more efficient base of blogging operations.
Thanks again for the support and stay tuned.
p.s. feel free to give us your 2 cents!
