Just learned about this artist today who gained a lot of attention on YouTube, but then got exposed by Wall Street Journal as a “fake amateur.” [WSJ article here] *shrugs* whatever, I think it’s a clever way to market + she’s talented and not a poser in that sense. Haters need to stop hatin’!

youtube is for vbloggers… so yea, if she’s not a true amateur i can see why they’d get tiffed about it. ne how, she has too much caked makeup on to look like a homegrown vblogger. but she does have a good voice. just as long as isnt singing someone else’s songs, she’d be a mandy moore.
I saw her last week play at Hotel Cafe. She was adorable.
