First off, my inner-geek needs to get this over with. Cargo Bay and StylinOnline.com are selling Star Wars themed sports apparel. May the Force be with them! Also, the folks at Lifehacker.com have compiled a list of the Most Popular Free Windows Downloads of 2008, which is definitely worth checking out. And for all you hipster fucks, the guys at Dev-Team have gone and unlocked the iPhone 3G. If you don’t know what that means, it means these good gentlemen have hacked the iPhone so that you can run third-party applications that Apple and the iPhone won’t let you run normally. The app is scheduled to be released by December 31st. Finally, something for Angelino Geeks that aren’t afraid to crawl from their internetz and computers, g33kd1nner is celebrating it’s 6th year anniversary tonight at uWink at 8PM. Also, Creative Commons, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to making it easier for people to share and build upon existing ideas of others, consistent with the rules of copyright, is celebrating it’s 6th birthday together with g33kd1nner. Bring money for food and drinks.
And moving on, I found these pictures from the riots in Greece of protesters clashing with police forces. Sparked by a small clash between two Special Guards of the Greek Police and a group of young men. It’s uncertain what took place, but in the end, the Guards fired three shots, and one of the bullets struck and killed 15-year-old Alexander Grigoropoulos. Great photos showing the destruction and conflict between protesters and police.
And something design and type buffs might be interested in. ITVS/Community Cinema, presents the movie Helvetica, screening at the Aero in West Hollywood tonight at 730PM. Admission is free.

Last night RAD held a fabulous event of art, music, and clothes over at Diamond Bar’s “It’s a Grind†coffeehouse. And we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at RAD’s new designs for their second line.
RAD, or “Random Artistic Design” Clothing, may be a newcomer to the industry (the company was launched about five months ago), but they are making a name for themselves. A favorite amongst local fans, this innovative team of creators has come up with some really fun and awesome T-shirt designs. As their site suggests, “some are complex with meaning, and some not.” But much like their signature “Zelephant†shirt, many are, in fact, random. They have stuff for girls and guys, and these graphic tees will surely garner you attention wherever you go. Clothing with a story. Do yourself a favor and keep a look-out for their upcoming ventures because RAD is definitely true Future Rockstars of America in the making.
Here are a few samples from their new line:

Went out to the Feel Good Fusion event in Pasadena the other night - must say it was a really cool event with a really good vibe. Dj Denkym (aka Sir Denkym) hosted a really good evening. I’m actually going to be showing some work and doing live work at the next one (last friday of Jan.).

Dj Denkym (left), Dj Shokase (right)
Basically Feel Good Fusion features 2 Dj’s on 4 turntables, a VJ showing off on 6 screens and 2 artists performing live work all at once (hence the fusion!). The venue also opens up the floor for breakers and spontaneous open mic sessions.

VJ Jigglesworth (left), who are you guys? (right)
It was interesting to see the VJ work, I’ve been seeing video work in clubs/bars for a minute but I’d never seen one done live before… this gives me some ideas…

Some of the art work up for sale(left), Hey, that shirt looks familiar… (right)
Anyways, don’t take my word for it, go out to the next one and see it for yourself! Here’s a snack for now:
