I heard out about Blue Scholars not too long ago through Evil Monito Magazine. Since then I’ve been a huge fan of the Seattle based hip hop duo.

I just checked out their new album, “Bayani” (Tagalog translates as “Hero” and in Farsi as “The Divine Word”), and must say the experience was amazing.

Real lyrics, covering everything from politics to spirituality crossed by flawless beats, makes this one of indie-rap at its finest.
