Cyne has established a reputation for producing tracks with love and knowledge. They are easily one of the best hip-hop artists out there today. Don’t be afraid to be challenged politically, spiritually and culturally by the music of Cyne. Their genuineness (I don’t care if that’s a real word or not) in music will resurrect your love for hip-hop.

CYNE recently completed the recording of their new album, Pretty Dark Things. No release date has been announced yet, but download a free song “Catharsis” from Project Mooncircle’s Wisdom In Chains EP, until it comes out.

NOT ANOTHER 50 CENT POST!!

Bet you guys are thinking.. NOT ANOTHER FIFTY’ POST!!
I just wanted to get your opinion about 50’s new music video “Ayo Technology” featuring JT & Timbaland.

Personally, I’m not feeling this song at all. I think the theme, rhyme, lyrics are all played out.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect 50 to come out with anything deep anytime soon..
but the move was cheap to use JT/Timba hype to promote the new album.

Before I start getting hate mail, I do listen and enjoy some 50 Cent songs.

So let me know what you think. I just wanna hear your opinions.

From New York! New York! comes the power-pop band, The Crash Modern. A stand out trait for the Crash Modern is their excellent songwriting. They have formed a niche where they combine irresistible beats with synth sounds, and it doesn’t wear itself out.

A brief listen to “This Time” on their Myspace page and it’s obvious that this quintet have spent a lot of time concentrating on their music.

It’s hard to find smart pop music these days, but these guys are rad. In case you doubt me, just ask Cathy, Amanda & Toni.

Looking for the The Great Escape

After working long days and long nights trying to do some freelance work, I needed a great escape.

I got just that from Patrick Watson’s “The Great Escape”. The chorus said it all..
“Puts on a smile and breathes it in and breathes it out
He says..
Bye Bye, Bye to all the noise
Oh he says, Bye bye, bye to all the noise.”

The song made me imagine a father driving home from work, smiling, with anticipation of a great hug from his daughter that will make him forget about the long day he just had..

Patrick’s beautiful voice, joined with simple lyrics is brilliant! I can’t recommend it enough.
